Mike, Most folks just use Aluminum silver available almost anywhere. It looks good and seems to prevent rust pretty well. I've seen several restored tractors recently that have used what looks to me to be "Argent Silver" like what's used on pickup bumpers and wheels. It looks really nice too. Another alternative is to have the rims re-galvanized. I haven't seen any of these that I can remember, but a bunch of us in my area were talking about having some rims done. We had trouble coordinating the collection to get them up to Ft. Worth for the job and haven't done any yet. The rate was $0.30/lb. for "dirty" rims and $0.20/lb. for "clean" rims in lots of 1,000 lbs. (if my memory serves me right). You might check plating shops in your area to see what you can come up with. I think they would really look neat chromed. :o) Phil
