Mike check with the local glass shops in your area, sometimes they have some left over in a tube from a previous job that they would be willing to give ya.
I usually don't wade into these contraversal subject, as the use of something for what it was not designed for...But have been following your saga with the different Farmalls and knowing money is tight, you being with military and new addition to your household, figured I would share somethings I have learned over the years...
And Shawn and I have been restoring a Farmall SC that was given to him to see if maybe it was something he could do.. Soon be 2 years since we started his project, close to the finished product now.
Just finished making the battery box today w/lid, hopefully will get some color shot on it in the next couple of days..
Anyway good luck on up coming show, and hopefully ya can do a hay ride.
