Maybe so but when I was growing up kids riding on tractors were every day occourence even when plowing and running full throttle on road (I agree this should never be done) and I never heard of a serious accident, on the other had there have been 2 kids killed on bicycles in sight of my front yard, I can recall 3 kids drowning in my nieghborhood, 2 killed in hunting accidents, several killled in farm truck accidents and one I remember killed on horse. I have friction throttle on my tractors and they will stay set without holding your hand on them and I can not concieve panic situation while tooling along on H at half throttle in second gear.
