the most important thing in a carb o/h is the soaking in carb cleaner and good air pres. to blow out the passages.just because you put in new gsks. that dont mean anything.nobody ever says if it was soaked, and then there talking about dirt in passages?how was it o/h then?i have cleaned many carbs just by soaking them and reused the old parts or made gsks.and the engine runs perfectly.the big problem is dirt and rust in there.you didnt say if you set the float level.needle and seat?--new or old? whats the main jet set at? is the gov. shaft lined up to the slot in butterfly?some little thing is over looked here.
