Dave, I had gout several years ago! It is generally caused by tomato paste, sauce, spicy foods, and seafood. My Dr. gave me some pills that gave me a case of the green apple two step, but within 24 hours, I was back on my feet. My backside was a little tender, but the pain in my toe was gone! Everyone can deal with a pain in the a$$, we've all had to do it from time to time! I hope you feel better.
