Randy: I think the extra reservoir is a good idea even with a double action cylinder. These systems work on very little oil and need the added reservoir for heat disapation if nothing else. I realize the other end of the double action cylinder helps, but more can't hurt.
I always considered all the first Farmall live double action systems, be it offset, SC-200, 300 or 400 to be lacking in oil capacity. One minor leak in a remote valve curcuit and you could be low in hydraulic oil very quickly, just not enough reserve.
