Hi folks. I'm looking to buy a Farmall Cub but don't know a great deal about them. I looked at one today that was in pretty darn good shape. The only problem however was a loud chatter coming from the clutch area. It would do it while idling but would almost become silent with a slight depression of the clutch although you could still feel it knocking a little through the petal. It would remain relatively quiet when put into gear but after a few seconds of riding it would start the chatter again. While idling I could place my hand on the tractor body there at the clutch and feel the clacking. There's a pin that enters the tractor body right there as well (not sure what its purpose is) but I could put my finger on the head of that pin and really feel the clacking there. Any ideas on how serious this may be or how to find out? Thanks everyone!
