Just had another brain wave. I'm probably off base on this one. Any way, I had a similar problem 10 years ago with my "H". It behaved this way when hot... ie. it wouldn't idle down. Turned out to be leakage at the intake manifold.Had to replace manifold, gasket, and studs
Are you working this tractor hard?
