Simple Remove that pin (wiggle and push down on the shifter as you tap it out). Then take the lever out ou the hole straight up. Down in the hole there will be three rails with slots the right hand rail slot will be too far rearward (not aligned) use a big screwdriver to align it with the others. (clutch down will help) Put the lever back in (maybe a new pin if that one is woen badly (made from a correct size grade 8 bolt piece to match the original) Then put plugs (new from the NAPA store).back in the sides of the tower. If it happens again, look in the archives for shifter tip photos. JimN
