Hello, A 806 is a great tractor. there are two pumps one for the steering and brakes and one for the hitch and remotes. they are an aluminum body pump so they do wear out. if you are looking to buy one just check it out before buying it. a realy good hyd system will turn the front wheel from stop to stop with out moving at an idle. and draw the engine down when you pull the remote lever. if there is a problem the pumps are not that costly. there could be some other hyd problem but most times changing the pump will fix weak hyd. overall I would not be afraid of a 806. some things to look at is the front end, TA , engine blow by and cold starting and the shift lincage.
