GADave, 1961 340's would start w/serial #6642. The price sounds very reasonable if everything works; sheet metal good/complete; TA, if equipped, works. Some came w/power steering; two or three point; one to three Hydra-Touch controls, or maybe none. My Farmall 340 gas has factory utility wide front, no power steering, two-point, original six volt, straight/complete sheet metal painted a slightly darker red than original and the white isn't cream color, but a great paint job so I'm not messing w/it. Original loader was IH 2001, I have one - trip bucket - although a front cylinder was optional and they can be hard to find. I picked my loader up in Kentucky, when gas was cheaper last summer. Live pto is a nice feature of these ~ 35 hp, 5000 pound tractors. My opinion, you better jump on it, as you could always find an interested buyer. Good luck!
