I have a Farmall 544 with fasthitch and the threepoint adapter arms. In this configuration, the hitch wont lift my 3 point disc mower high enough in transport. Does it hurt anything to line up the lift arm gears to the three point marks? Or another option running through my head would be to take off the lower part of the fast hitch and keep the lifting arms and attach regular threepoint arms in its place to the existing lifting arms? Anyone ever heard of this being done?
