In the forward half of the water pump pulley there is a bolt. Originally took a regular screwdriver to loosen. loosen thoroughly or remove (it has to clear the square keyway cut in the threaded pulley hub. If you are lucky the forward part forming the pulley will thread in and out on the pulley hub to loosen or tighten the belt. If you are not lucky you'll have to use some PB, WD40, etc and clean some threads and possibly break out a big punch and hammer to get her moving... turn it in (toward engine) to tighten the belt, this decreases the V between the two halves, until you have desired tension. Line that threaded hole back up with that square slot and reinsert the bolt you removed.. While you are at it, give the grease zerk a shot or two of grease...
