Hi Sam, don't have expierence with D239 in 544 but have lots of expierence with D239 in 684. My first check would be fuel flow into and out of the fuel filters. Get a clean bucket and disconnect the fuel line into the fuel filters and let the fuel flow into the bucket. The fuel must flow out at the full of the inlet pipe if it doesn't then there is a problem coming from the fuel tank. My brother had a similar problem with his 684 and problem was a lady bug carcus in the fuel tank that was restring the fuel flow out of the tank.
