The TA clutch is just like a regular clutch, but it is smaller and has less work to do (ratios are in its favor)as it is released, the tractor free wheels. If the tractor is set to roll backwards, the ramp and rollers in the TA prevent the TA system from rotating backwards until the TA clutch is released. This will be opposite if the tractor is in reverse, and wants to roll forward. There are two clutches, and thus it has that dual feel. JimN
