I would not put any grease in the bearings or anywhere else in the rear end. That would be like sludge and would just hinder the flow of oil. If you put oil in the case before you put the top back on, you can spin the gears by hand and see how the lube system works. The gears throw oil up into the top channel that is at the top side of the case. The oil then drains along the channel and through passages that lube the bearings. If you want to prelube, just pour some oil in the channel after you complete the assembly and before putting the top back on. The proper oil level is to the level plug on the side of the case. Check your manual for location as I don't recall where it is on the H. Also, make sure the oil passages that go to the bearings are all open and not plugged with sludge. The Super H transmission I rebuilt a couple years back had those holes mostly plugged up with gunk, resulting in poor (or no) oil circulation and thus worn out bearings.
