Thank you for sharing your knowledge of this unfortunate situation. As E-commerce increases, the potential for problems between buyer and seller escalate. With the help of honest individuals on this and other forums, problems can be kept to a minimum. Having sucessfully completed over 300 transactions on the Internet with companies and individuals, I strongly urge all buyers to use United States Postal Service money orders as the preferred method of payment for small purchases. Larger purchases can be handled with an escrow service or by shipping the merchandise COD. As Red suggested, the cost is slightly more but the problems are greatly reduced. Clear and effective communication between the buyer and seller, both E-mail and followup telephone calls, are absolutely essential to minimize problems. My hat is off to Charlie Scheffer for getting involved. Ray Medley (medfarm) Madera, CA
