Hi Kleed, you may have to buy manual for 674 or 684 as T/A was option on 574 and 674 but standard on 684. My 684 I&T shop manual has T/A section. There is mechanical linkage that connects from level on dash to top of transmission cover under battery box. Looked at caseih.com parts, there is no T/A shown for 574 or 674 but 684 drive train page 7-64, 7-66 shows T/A. Also does PTO and other hydraulics work as there is a small hydraulic pump that runs off the PTO drive shaft that powers the T/A clutch in the HI position. LO T/A is a mechanical drive with a mechanical friction clutch to provide engine braking on down hill. Also check Hytran fluid level in transmission (dipstick by left heel) as hydraulic pump for T/A uses Hytran fluid from transmission.
