Hello, We have a 656 Farmall that we bought last summer and I'm getting it ready for hay season. When we bought it, I noticed that it seemed like the frontend loader couldn't pick a bale as high as I thought it should have. I wondered about a weak pump, but the 3 point would pick up heavy implements OK. Well, I hooked the hyd. to the cylinder on my JD mower conditioner and it wouldn't pick it up high enough to get the bolt out of transport mode on mower. I hooked it to my Vermeer baler and it would only raise the back gate 1/2-3/4 of the way up. I don't like to think that the pump is bad , especially since the 3 point works OK, but does anyone have any other suggestions (pressure relief valve or ?)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
