Yes, there are products you can try. In the marine business, we used one by Evinrude - Johnson called "Engine Tuner", the primary purpose of which is to free up stuck rings and loosen carbon deposits. It works very well (- much better than injecting water while running). You spray it into the carb air intake while the engine is at fast idle. After 3-4 good long shots of it, you shut the engine down with it, let it sit for maybe two hours, then fire it up again and run it for a few minutes to clear the engine. The stuff will make a lot of smoke and kill every misquito for miles around, but it sure helps free up rings in a carboned up engine and boosts compression also.
