For the one on the belly pump, put something in the port of the pump to block the gears from turning and then use a piece of bar that fits the slot in the coupling. Some say to use a screw driver for this, but I'm leary of gear damage. I ended up disassembling the pump on my M and then making a clamp out of hardwood to hold the gear before I finally broke it loose. If you can fab an adapter so you can use an impact wrench on the coupling, that should help. For the one on the transmission, the same bar and impact comments apply, I have blocked the shaft from turning by putting the PTO in gear and then attaching an old PTO yoke to the pto with a bar though it. Just putting the tractor in gear may not give you enough leverage, as the engine may turn over. Setting the brakes may work, but when I did mine, had the brakes off it, so could not say on that.
