You say its been sitting for a while with no fluid in radiator, don't know if cracked, leaks, or drained. But you say it runs and "might" have some main bearing noise. Are you taking the guy's word for all this, or have you heard it run, listened to it yourself, or had a mechanic friend with you when you did?...I assume not, since you don't know at this time if the radiator even holds water. Better look it over a lot more carfeully before you even consider buying it, much less worry about the price. Like Red said, you might be looking at a real basket case.
