this is on a briggs and stratton... I bought a carb kit for the mower. it comes with a couple needle/seat combos to fit multiple applications. Usually in small engines one or the other of the needle/seat pair is rubber; i think they started the whole rubber tipped trend... any way it appeared as if the needle for the metal seat was also metal...upon closer inspection, it's a shiny metal-colored rubber(or similar)! wonder what type of material that one is now? maybe it's the cat's meow and caseih will start supplying that type of tip...
