I was out working with my Farmall 460 and I connected to a single acting lift cylinder on a disc. When I put the selector in single mode, it still operated in dual mode. I didn't have time to take a very good look at it, but from what I could see, the selector and pin appeared to be in good shape and operate correctly, externally.
My question is if this is a common problem.
It has never done this before and the last time I need to select single mode, it worked fine (approx. 6 months ago). Please tell me the valve doesn't need a rebuild!
