Hi BBall, my Dad ran a 7ft NH mower conditioner for years with a 384 which is sane tractor but newer version. My brother also used the 384 on a small 4X4 round baler. The PTO HP was not the problem. The problem was going down a hill with an almost full bale in the baler, the weight of the baler plus bale would was all the 384 could handle.
