For seven years I have been working on restoring my grandad's first tractor. An F14 Farmall, better known to the family as "Old Bob". A name that no one seems to know the origin of.
I have only worked on it only when the mood has struck me, but we are now at the end of the project. For the past 2 evenings I could have cranked it up. "Old Bob" and I went through many periods together during the past seven years. Things like why in the world did I ever start this project, will I ever actually finish it, to excitement that is was finally going back together.
But now that is all behind us, well almost.
Thanks to everyone over the years who have answered my questions, sent me parts, or put me on to someone who had them. "Old Bob" would not have been finished if it weren't for all of you.
