1. take off sheet metal and fuel tank including sheet metal around radiator. 2. disconnect stearing at universal joint. 3. take cap off end of steering unit up front and screw out stearing shaft. 4. take off radiator. 5. Get some blocks under the transmission and jack up so that front wheels about 1/2 inch off floor and block off solidly. (keeping in mind that it is intent to suspend front end from support at transmission) 6. Get a hoist or something and attach to bloister. remove bolts from rail and take out the front wheel assembly. too heavy to handle solo. need lift. 7. take off rails 8. attach lift to engine. 9. remove bolts on the outside that mount engine to transmission 10. remove starter 11 Remove bolt inside the starter hole 12. engine should be free
