Well sine i wasn't having any luck getting injector service on sunday for the 2+2 3588, I decided to pull the superA from storage and see If SHE would run. Well hell yeah she ran after 5 years storage without being started, right away only needed fresh fuel and a battery. But when I checked the Oil it had a distinctive chololate milk color, UH OH! So I drained the pan and exactly as I was suspecting I have slight amounts of antifreeze in my oil. Guess it's time for a Head gasket.. Does anyone know of a good source for OEM quality parts for the super A? It also appears I need a new header as it it cracked on the header flange where it joins the manifold.
Can anyone help me source these parts and possibly a link that shows assemblydisassembly, not that it appears hard at all but that I would still like to see how it all comes togetherapart before I dive in, I also welcome any hints from any of you IH guru's whom have done this and know the shortcuts,or things easily overlooked ect..
Anyways, I filled her up with fresh oil and have begun planning what things I will need to do to this little gem to get her back where she should be.
