Adjust (increase) your closed position float level setting a little (less than 1/8") so that the needle closes on the seat a little earlier and slightly lowers the fuel level in the bowl. I have run into this same problem two or three times - perhaps more so when aftermarket components are used. Or, maybe the float sits a tiny bit lower in today's fuel? Regardless, this cure works consistently well for me. mike
