I posted this in the Restoration and Repairs board, and recieved a great reply but I thought I would post it here also to see if I could get some more info.
I recently pulled my grandpa's old No. 7 mower out of the field where it has been for probably 20 years or more. I cleaned it up but there isn't any oil left in the gears so they are locked up. I was planning on adding oil to see if I could get it working again. Any information would be great. How much oil or an tips you may have. Thanks in advance for the help!
