Hello All!
So I got a chance to fire up one of the recent purchases (a 1945 H, all original) and hooked it up to my JD #5 mower for its first run of the year.
The mower worked pretty well for having sat out all winter (needs a few new sections, one bad hold down, and a new swathboard) However, since its a nice old mower, its still prone to plugging.
The M I used last year had been "customized" with a different PTO handle, which made it OK to engage and disengage. However, the H is still stock, and that handle is sort of a pain to turn that PTO on and off.
So does anyone know if there was a good aftermarket lever made that makes this more accessible?
