I have a front mounted saw for my H. It was a comunity saw for years, owned by several farmers. As these farmers converted to oil or gas heat my dad bought out their shares in the saw till he owned it. It is home made from the front half of a Model A ford car frame. Basically channel iron with 2 support legs and a arbor mounted crossways. There are 2 3/8" thick flat irons bolted to the front bolster, they stick out about 6 inches. A 3/4" rod goes through the frame of the saw and the tabs on the H. Then the flat belt goes on both pulleys. This rig does not fold up on the tractor it can be lifted by someone and moved forward slowly. The shoes on the bottom of the support legs are curved so I can back up with out assistance.
