Every once in a while when I would shut my C off you had to hold in the switch to get it to die. About a month ago I went to start it but the battery seemed dead. I tried to pull start it with my H but it wouldnt even try to start. When I got it in the garage I found the wire that runs from the amp gauge to the starter and the wire that runs from the switch to the coil both had breaks in them. I replaced both of those wires with ones that were the same gauge. I also found the two wires that go to the voltage regulator had bad ends on them and replaced them also. I replaced the switch with a new one. When I was putting the switch in I noticed that the fuse holder was broke so I unhooked it. As soon as I hooked the battery back up I melted the wire from the amp gauge to the starter. Do I have to have the fuse holder wired in for it to run or is that only for the lights? Does anyone have any ideas as to what my problem might be? Before I replaced the switch and wires I had 0 volts at the coil with the switch on. Any help would be great. Thanks.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
