George: The screach owl hung around the neighborhood about a week. We have a lot of cedar hedges, big walnut and maple trees in the area. Also very large numbers of robbins, and I'll say one thing they are feisty little birds. The owl would be perched in a tree, and the robbins would dive on him, even to the point of making physical contact. While the owl was around there was no letup, and they made a lot of noise doing it. I've seen them start chirping up while the owl was still at the neighbors. I had never seen robbins this feisty before.
