look on the left side of the block about in the middle where the head and block cometogether and there will be a flat machined surface and this is where the CID and s/r # should be . Now if at one time the block was replaced then it will be blank . Been to long since i was around the I H dozers , last one i was on was a TD8 E and that was 30 + years ago and as for the TD 15's make that 40 years ago.
