Hello all, I'm in the market for a tractor for use around my farm (my '49 Cub is great, but it has its limits), and have found a exceptionally nice W-6 Standard for sale nearby (at a John Deere dealer, of all places). The question is, will it do what I need it to do--I would like to have a bucket loader, and three-point hitch attachments (bushhog, post hole digger, etc.). The fellow at the store told me it would be "impossible" to put a front loader on it (no remote for the hydraulics), and pointed out that it doesn't have a 3-point hitch. I know there are 3-point hitch conversions for old Farmalls. Are they available for a W-6? And can't I simply do my own hydraulic plumbing for a bucket? Any help y'all could offer would be much appreciated. Patrick Skelley Bedford, Virginia
