jeff: A 1950 Super A would have had block part number 251069 R1 from the factory. Farmall C would have also had that block. All 251069 R1 blocks had 3" bore and were C-113 engines, as they came from factory. All Super C tractors were equipped with block part number 354898 R1 from the factory. 3-1/8" bore making a C-123 engine.
Super A tractors after serial number 310300 used block number 354898 R1 from factory, but were equipped with thicker sleeves giving a 3" bore and still a C-113 engine.
An interesting side note on block number 354898 R1, it can be equipped with 3", 3-1/8" or 3-1/4" bore without any alteration to the block. Basically 3 different size sleeve and piston kits fit one block. These blocks will all interchange to fit any Farmalls A, SA, C and SC, bolt up pattern and dimencions are all the same.
