My experience with a Cub front axle... Tried penetrant, heat, portapower, rigged uppuller with all thread. Never did get it out. Took it to shop that does my welding. They could not get it to break loose either. Ended up splitting the back side of the outer tube with a grinder, then spreading it enough to get it loose, then rewelding the split. My welding shop did this and is not noticeable at all after grinding smooth and repainting.
