I have a carb on a Super H that is enough to make a preacher cuss. Tractor will appear to be cured, sometimes will work for 30 minutes and the next time will flood right away.
I've already blown out/cleaned carb, replaced the float (old float sure looked ok, but I'm past flustrated), replaced the needle and fitting (twice) that float opens and closes to allow gas into carb. Float is not touching/hanging up on inside of carb. Float needle seems to hang up sometimes, but is loose in new (and also old) fitting. Both the little hard rubber tip on needle and the brass fitting that it fits into look perfect. Last time we worked on it, tractor started up fine, flooded so that it would only run with choke 2/3 closed (warmed up tractor... totally no need for choke) tractor ran poorly until I turned off gas under gas tank, then ran fine until it ran out of gas. Gas is tank is not under pressure... Thanks for the help!!!!!
