Grandpa is dead and I am sure he'd like nothing better, than to see you enjoy his old tractor.
Now...I am a grandpa, and someday.....I'll croak and be scattered in the wind. No need in mourning over me....but for the living to enjoy their lives and their children and get on with it. It would be nice to think that instead of being sold off in an estate sale....some of the kids will finish wearing some of this stuff out...using for what it was made to do.
If your Grandpa had it rebuilt...then he'd probably appreciate a new coat of paint as well.....fix it up and turn them boys loose on it when they're old enough.
