H Radiator removal

I started removing the radiator from my H last night and I'm having a lot of trouble getting to the bolts under the frame. Can't get a socket on them because they are too close to the frame. Using a 5/8" open end or box looks like it could take hours because I can only get a very short turn before having to take the wrench off. And those springs keep so much tension on the nut you can't turn it by hand after you get it moving. Anybody have a good solution or am I just gonna have to tough it out?
