Greetings:

The price of tractors vary greatly based on where you live. Around Rochester, NY, which has high prices, an A in good shape with good tires will cost somewhere between $1,000-$1,500. Included implements will add to the price. If the tractor needs any major work I would probably avoid the tractor unless they are giving it to you. Even when you do most of the work, major repairs add up quickly. Mr. Red spent a great deal of money restoring an H. He might be able to tell you more. I think he spent well over $2,000 on the repairs, I may be wrong. Good luck. I am enjoying my 1940 Farmall A.
