if your light switch has 4 positions when you turn it, it will be l, h, d, b. low, high (referes to charge rate) and d and b. dim and bright on the headlamps. that switch was used with the cut out relay instead of the voltage regulator. case i-h sells a regulator that retro fits the cutout relay, there are instructions that come with it to bypass the resistor in the lamp switch. the harness will either be for the regulator that mounts on the genny, or the one on the steering post.
