You need to check the gas flow to the carburetor. Unhook the gas line at the carb and see if there's a full stream of gas, no trickle. Hold a clean container to catch the gas. I would remove that in line filter if its not for a gravity flow system. If there's a full stream from the gas line remove that tube fitting from the carb and clean the screen behind the fitting. Have you opened the main jet adjustment screw near the bottom of the carb? This is where your engine gets the enriched fuel mixture. Hal PS: You need to check the timing to make sure its not retarded. Make sure there's no blockage in the radiator if its running hot. Need to find the cause before you crack your cylinder head or worse.
