I bought a 484 with over 13,000hrs on it. I bought it with a engine knock and rebuilt the engine over the winter, it had a spun rod bearing. Im planning on painting soon but now I found a brake leak.
The 484 was designed to be 48hp but they all came out between 50 and 55hp. Thats what I read anyways.
The guy I bought mine from knew somone who had a 484 with duel rear wheels and they pulled a 4 bottom plow with and 10ft disk. He said they ran the tractor hard all day everyday and it held up. I really like mine, seems to be built well.
Some parts can be a pain to find, that about the only problem I see with them. What I like is they have really good hydraulics.
