Most trip loaders have oneway cylinders (meaning there is only hydrolic pressure moving the loader up).When you let the pressure off the loader moves down from the weight of the bucket. The ones I have had droped so fast they slamed the ground when I let the pressure off. And they all made noise as they went up, but they moved up at a fair rate. You may have a week pump or a gloged hose, fitting, or something like that.
