I picked a good day to remove the resistor. 103 degrees outside in the shade so I figure in the metal building it was close to 112 and without a breeze or fan.
Everything went smoothly so after I got the old wire removed and the new one hooked up I figured I better check it out and see if the SA started. Pulled the ignition switch on and then pushed the starter button on the starter and it didnt make a sound. I figured I didnt have the wires on there good so I checked it again but they all checked out fine. I stood right there beside the battery box and pulled the ignition switch on and then pushed the starter button, again NOTHING, not a sound.
I thought for a second of what I did wrong then I looked at the battery box. I had to just bust out laughing because I had'nt replaced the battery. I may not have a degree like John T but even I know you have to have a battery in there. Started right up after that little error with the battery. LOL
