John- Thanks for the idea support. No joke now, I've done that trick many times. A 5 gallon bucket of kero with a 12v electric fuel pump in it, with a good fuel filter on the inlet and a long piece of fuel hose on the outlet, and things just work out fine. No joke about the stool brush, it works out better than you say. What I like about kero #1 is that it is oily and I don't worry much about solvent residues that soaked into the cast iron later messing up lubrication.
