H's are sweet machines, aren't they? Yours looks good too. I notice the cut-off rears and the magneto, probably meaning yours was a wartime H. Good guess? I went to a website the other day and believe I figured out the DAY my '39 H was built--I believe on Thursday, August 31, 1939. Interestingly I also learned that while they began building H's in July, 1939, they only seem to have built four of them that entire month. Thanks for posting the pictures. Any idea of what the parts would cost if I wanted to rebuild my own hydraulic belly pump? And, could a real non-mechanic do it?
