When I was a kid I used to cut lawns for extra $. I used a push mover and when I pushed the mower it blew the grass out the exit hole with no problem. When I would pull the mower the grass would not exit the deck but clump up on the other side. I don't know if this will be a problem if you go in reverse but you may want to think about it. Good luck
